North Mount Pleasant Chick-fil-A Hosts Third Blood Drive with The Blood Connection
The Blood Connection (TBC) is excited to further recognize one of its most outstanding blood drive coordinators, Maddy Mordenti with Chick-fil-A North Mount Pleasant. The last two blood drives at the North Mount Pleasant location have collected almost 250 units of blood for Lowcountry hospitals. The Blood Connection cannot operate without community partners like Chick-fil-A, with 800 blood donations needed daily for the organization’s hospital partners.
Mordenti tells TBC Chick-fil-A has had a positive experience with The Blood Connection and is happy to help save lives right here in the Lowcountry saying in part, “We are so grateful to play a small role in helping give back to our community through blood drives. The Blood Connection has made the entire experience so easy with the most caring staff and volunteers. We love seeing our Mount Pleasant community show up and give back to those in need. We love the fact that all blood donated stays local and it’s an honor to be one of the largest coastal blood drives.” Maddy Mordenti and the team at Chick-fil-A North Mount Pleasant also recently won the Overachiever Award at The Blood Connection awards ceremony on August 19th.
The third Chick-fil-A North Mount Pleasant blood drive is on October 19th at 3102 Ironclad Alley. This is an all-day blood drive lasting from 9am to 7:30pm. Each donor will receive a $20 Chick-fil-A gift card as well as a Clemson or Carolina blood donor t-shirt. Appointments are strongly encouraged and can be made here.
