Bapkó Grill House Now Open in New Downtown Food and Brew Hall
Authentic Greek eatery, Bapkó Grill House, opened today in Charleston’s new food and brew hall, Port of Call. Pronounced Var-ko, Bapkó Grill House is a new offering from the family that owns and operates the My Big Fat Greek Trailer.
Bapkó Grill House will be one of five eateries at the new Port of Call food and brew hall on South Market Street. The space formerly occupied by Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. has been completely transformed on both the interior and exterior, and will now feature three bars and a beer garden alongside Charleston food vendors Bapkó Grill House, Palmira Barbeque, Bok Choy Boy, Iaca Bowls, and Empire Oyster.
Owner David Leon says he will continue to offer the authentic Greek dishes his food truck serves, but with some variation and additional menu items. Among the offerings will be spit-roasted pork and chicken gyros, souvlaki, salads, and more.
Port of Call will be open Monday – Sunday from 11 am to 10 pm.
