UPDATE: Doggie Costume Contest Benefiting Charleston Animal Society Moved to November 4th

The Charleston community is invited to a festive outdoor Doggie Costume Contest at 22 WestEdge in downtown Charleston on Thursday, October 28th. All proceeds from the event go directly to the Charleston Animal Society. Participants can enter their pets by visiting this website: https://charlestonanimalsociety.org/COSTUME-CONTEST/ and the fee is $20 per dog.
Long-time animal activist and Director of Community Engagement at Charleston Animal Society, Kay Hyman will MC the event. Guest judges include: Charleston County Treasurer Mary Tinkler and Journalist Quintin Washington of Quintin’s Close Ups.
Guests can also enjoy live music from beloved Charleston jazz singer Gillian Kohn. Prizes will be given to the top three best dog costumes.

- All dogs must be on leash
- No coolers please
- Free two-hour parking in garage above Publix
