DJ NattyHeavy Releasing Children’s Book
Charleston resident Nate Lopes, who you may know as the award-winning DJ NattyHeavy, is releasing DJ Wicky Girl, a fun and colorful children’s book about a young DJ who uses the power of music to change the moods and minds of her friends. Lopes both wrote and illustrated the book.
On the book’s website, Lopes says that his 5-year-old daughter, Josalyn, is “absolutely the inspiration for DJ Wicky Girl.” Lopes said his daughter loves music so much that she currently aspires to be a DJ.
