Jeff Cook Real Estate Sponsored 100 Free Pet Adoptions
It was a perfectly timed birthday celebration for homeless animals in Charleston County. Each year, Jeff Cook Real Estate sponsors 100 adoptions at Charleston Animal Society to celebrate Cook’s birthday.
“The timing this fall was amazing, because across the state shelters are struggling to find enough homes for animals in their care and Jeff Cook helped us place 100 animals during such a challenging time,” said Charleston Animal Society Director of Community Engagement Kay Hyman. “Jeff does this because he cares about animals and the people who love them.”
The 100th adoption was a cat named Helmster on October 29th. The Jeff Cook adoption campaign began on October 16, where every dog, cat, kitten and puppy had all of their adoption fees covered by Jeff. “Our goal of becoming a No Kill State by 2024 will happen, if we continue to have community partners like Jeff Cook,” said Charleston Animal Society President and CEO Joe Elmore, CFRE, CAWA. “The example he is setting is one for all of us.”
Not only is Jeff Cook Real Estate passionate about helping pets find new, loving homes, but last year they helped 1,450 families find their new homes as well through their expert real estate service.
