Rockabillaque Fest Returns Next Week
Vive Le Rock Productions presents Rockabillaque Charleston in the historic Park Circle neighborhood of North Charleston, South Carolina, on November 12th, 13th and 14th, 2021. Concerts and other events will take place at a variety of locations throughout the three days of the festival, benefiting local non-profit animal rescue and rehabilitation organization Valiant: Animal Rescue & Relief.
Rockabillaque Charleston is the biggest festival of its kind in the Carolinas, celebrating mid-century culture and all things Americana. This action-packed 3-day event features musical acts from all over the country, a classic car and vintage bike show, contests including the popular Pin-Up Contest, aerial artists, a flash tattoo promotion, carnival games, classic American food and much more.
The festival and its organizers are excited to return to Park Circle, after the event was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To help support the health and safety of this year’s attendees, 2021 Rockabillaque will be foregoing its traditional street festival, which draws crowds of more than 14k each year, in favor of expanding events over the course of three days and introducing attendees to even more of what the historic Park Circle area has to offer, while keeping the festival action-packed, safe, and fun for all ages.
This year’s entertainment features a stellar lineup of national acts including the legendary Reverend Horton Heat as the event’s big headliner who will be doing a rare solo performance, an opportunity to see the legendary rock and roll star in a unique setting. Other well-known acts include Lara Hope & the Ark-Tones (NY), Hot Rod Walt & The Psycho-Devilles (GA), Sean K. Preston & The Loaded Pistols (MD), Kinda Fonda Wanda (Wanda Jackson Tribute Band) (MN), Little Lesley & The Bloodshots (NC), The Tan & Sober Gentlemen (NC), Jane Rose & The Deadend Boys (TN), Matchstick Johnny (FL), Vaden Landers (TN), Skinny McGee & His Mayhem Makers (FL), Slim & the Gems (GA) and Smokin’ Souls (GA) – plus local Charleston favorites Jared Petteys and the Headliners, Johnny & The Broken Hearts, Hot Club of Charleston, The FISTERS and Aerial Artist and Burlesque Performer, Scarlet Ray.
