New Short Documentary Film About Jaime Harrison’s 2020 U.S. Senate Campaign Being Developed
A new short documentary film about Democrat Jaime Harrison’s 2020 run for the U.S. Senate against Republican incumbent Lindsey Graham is currently being developed, and you can support the project by contributing to their Kickstarter campaign.
In The Bubble with Jaime follows Harrison as he and his team work to reach voters in spite of the many challenges of the COVID pandemic and gives a glimpse into Jaime’s life – not only as a Senate candidate, but also as a husband and father of two young boys. The film and Harrison’s campaign shine a light on the role of lingering racial divides in our society and how they play out in our political system.
The documentary comes from South Carolina filmmaker Emily Harrold and a team of diverse collaborators from across South Carolina and the United States. Harrold is a 2020 Southeast Region Emmy Winner and a 2022 Columbia Dupont Award Finalist.
Harrison is the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, after previously serving as the chair of the South Carolina Democratic Party from 2013 to 2017.
