Firefly to Host “Bring Your Own Shuckers Oyster Roast & Seafood Food Truck Festival”
On Saturday, December 4th, from noon to 5 pm, the Firefly Distillery and the &Lobster Food Truck will be hosting the “Bring Your Own Shuckers Oyster Roast & Seafood Food Truck Festival.” The event will take place at the distillery’s headquarters in North Charleston.As the name suggests, attendees should bring their own shuckers and towels, but Firefly has teamed up with Lowcountry Oyster Co. to provide the oysters, crackers, and cocktail sauce.
Guests will also be able to purchase beer, wine, Firefly cocktails, and a Bloody Marys.
Participating food trucks include:
- &Lobster – New England Style Lobster rolls
- Tamishi – will be doing a seafood special
- Flight – fried chicken sandwiches
- Chucktown Mobile Seafood Cafe – Lowcountry eats
- Miss Katie’s Sweets – desserts
The event is free to attend and open to all ages. Tickets for all-you-can-eater oysters from Lowcountry Oyster Co. are $25 per person and should be purchased in advance here. Oyster tickets do not include any alcohol.
The festival will also include live music by Super Reggae Man on the Front Porch from 1 pm – 4 pm.
