Published

Mount Pleasant movie theater Regal Cinebarre has closed – this according to the Post & Courier. The newspaper reports that Collett Capital, with Charleston-based partner Buxton Development Group, paid $14.25 million for the 7-acre theater property on Houston Northcutt Boulevard on November 16th.

A representative from Collett Capital told the Post & Courier that plans for the site have not been finalized yet.

Cinebarre was known for not only showing movies, but for offering guests a full-service bar and restaurant during showings. Attendees could order food and drinks from their theater seats and have it delivered as they enjoyed their movie of choice.
