City Lights Coffee will Return in 2022

City Lights Coffee today announced on social media that the café will be returning in May of 2022 at a new location.

Back in August, the coffee shop closed their North Market Street location after 15 years serving the downtown community. At the time, the owners said that despite the closure, they were “working tirelessly…to secure a new space.”

According to the coffee shop’s social media posts (right and below), the business was approved by the City of Charleston’s Zoning Division on Tuesday night.  The new café will be located at 12 Line Street.
