Prohibition Team Purchases King Street Public House, Transforming it into Sippin’ Santa Tiki Cocktail Pop-Up for the Holidays
Charleston cocktail bar and restaurant Prohibition today announced that they have acquired the King Street Public House location at 549 King Street. In collaboration with the “Miracle” franchise and Tiki legend Jeff “Beachbum” Berry, Sippin’ Santa, a temporary pop-up, will open in the space on Monday, November 22nd through New Year’s Eve.
The Holy City can enjoy Sippin’ Santa from 11 am until late seven days a week through the end of December. Guests will be greeted and seated on a first-come, first-serve basis, however there will be opportunities to reserve space for holiday parties, private events, and VIP lounge seating through our group sales department. You can follow them on Instagram (@sippinsantachs) to keep up to date on special events such as Brunch with Santa, Tacky Christmas Sweater Contests, and more.
“We’re certainly excited to launch a new concept on King Street and help grow a positive, quality-focused brand that meets the needs of our community” said Prohibition owner James Walsh. “In the meantime, we hope to spread some holiday cheer with some delicious Christmas Tiki cocktails!”
Each cocktail will be served in festive and unique vessels and the kitchen will be offering shared plates until 11 pm weekdays and 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
