Sisters of Charity Foundation of SC Announces Board Appointments
The Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina (SCFSC) today announced new and reappointed board members and 2022 board officers who will each help support the organization’s work to strategically use resources to reduce poverty through action, advocacy and leadership.
“We are thrilled to welcome a new Trustee to the Foundation Family,” said Tom Keith, Foundation President. “2022 is going to be a pivotal year for Sisters of Charity Foundation of SC as we work to implement the foundation’s first ever Anti-Poverty Advocacy Agenda that we unveiled in December.”
The new board member began his three-year term with the foundation effective January 1, 2022 and joined members who were reappointed.
The new board member is:
- Tigerron (Tiger) Wells, new board member
State Government Affairs Director (SC) at Duke Energy Corporation
The two board members who have been reappointed are:
- Sister Judith Ann Karam, CSA, FACHE, reappointed to second 3-year term
- Mitch Watson, reappointed to a third 3-year term
COO/CFO at Keenan & Suggs, Inc.
The Foundation also appointed one new non-board member committee member:
- Reverend Tony McDade, new committee member
Board Officers elected for 2022:
- Andy Folsom, Chair
- Vice Chair, Pam Bryant
- Treasurer, Gerald Smalls
- Secretary, Macon Lovelace
