The Beach Company Announces Five New Hires and Two Internal Promotions in Charleston
The Beach Company today announced five new hires and two internal promotions at its downtown Charleston headquarters.
Justin D’Eredita has been hired as an investor accountant to service the accounting needs of the company’s Beach Investment Fund and its ongoing development projects across the Southeast. D’Eredita is a certified public accountant and will be based at The Beach Company’s downtown headquarters at The Jasper. Originally from Charlotte, N.C., D’Eredita earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and his master’s degree in accounting from Appalachian State University. He brings invaluable industry experience to The Beach Company, having served as a senior property accountant at Lincoln Harris for more than three years and as an audit associate at Grant Thornton for two years.
Melissa Trinh has been hired as a digital designer on The Beach Company’s marketing team. In this role, she will create on-brand digital content, including email marketing campaigns and ads as well as print communications, brochures and other design elements. Trinh earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Virginia Commonwealth University and additionally earned a certificate in computer graphics from Trident Technical College. Before joining The Beach Company, she gained relevant industry experience working as a senior graphic designer at Kiawah Partners for 13 years.
Annie Carr has been hired in the property management department as a portfolio manager overseeing a portion of The Beach Company’s retail leasing portfolio as well as managing the leasing of two office buildings. Originally from Winston-Salem, N.C., Carr earned her bachelor’s degree in arts managements from the College of Charleston and previously worked with WRS Inc. Real Estate Investments in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
Jess Wisiackas has been hired as a development associate to provide ongoing support of The Beach Company’s real estate development projects in the southeastern United States. Originally from Clifton, Va., Wisiackas earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University and his master’s in real estate from Georgetown University. Prior to joining The Beach Company, he spent two years as a development associate with The Meridian Group, a real estate private equity firm focused on development opportunities in the Washington metropolitan area, and one year at Greystar Real Estate Partners specializing in multifamily underwriting.
Hannah Long has been hired as a corporate accountant at The Beach Company. Originally from Loris, S.C., Long earned her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting with a management minor from Clemson University.
Karissa Leung was recently promoted to digital marketing manager on The Beach Company’s marketing team. In this new role, Leung will analyze campaign and advertising data, business intelligence and market research, create marketing campaigns and will be integral in the creation of an e-commerce business plan. Leung joined The Beach Company in 2020 as social media strategist responsible for developing marketing strategies for The Beach Company’s corporate and multifamily properties’ social media presence. After earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in marketing and entrepreneurship, Leung gained valuable experience as an account executive on the PepsiCo team at TraceyLocke advertising, as marketing coordinator at Waterworks luxury kitchen and bath and at Nickelodeon, among other roles.
Niko LeVigne has been promoted from analyst to acquisition associate. In this new role, LeVigne will underwrite the acquisition of multifamily properties, coordinate various due diligence and closing processes and aid in sourcing future acquisitions. LeVigne graduated from College of Charleston with a double major in finance and commercial real estate finance. He previously worked as an intern for The Beach Company.
