Camgian Selects Charleston for Business Expansion
The Charleston Digital Corridor is pleased to announce that Camgian has selected Charleston for their business expansion. The company will open an office at the Charleston Tech Center (CTC). Camgian provides intelligent software as a service powered by data science and artificial intelligence that drives operational speed, scope, and scale.
Founded in 2006, Camgian, based in Starkville, MS with offices in Tuscaloosa, AL and Nashville, TN., joins a rapidly growing list of technology focused companies, now approximately 700 strong, that are expanding operations to Charleston. The company expects to add many junior and senior technical positions.
“Charleston represents a unique opportunity in which to expand our presence throughout the South; specifically, in our cognitive computing business where we’re working with a number of industrial manufacturers, said Camgian founder and CEO, Gary Butler (right).
“I also believe the recent upswing in migration of tech talent to Charleston can assist us with our hiring needs which include senior and junior positions Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to name a few”, he added.
