Press Release

First Citizens Bank recently held a ribbon-cutting celebrating the grand opening of its new full-service, 4,500-square-foot branch in the Nexton community.

Those in attendance included representatives from First Citizens Bank, the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce and Nexton. Among them were Berkeley Chamber Board of Directors Representative Ron Scherba, First Citizens’ Nexton branch team, led by April Burgess and Jason Maurer, First Citizens’ Regional Executive Vice President Sharon Bryant and Area Executive of Coastal Markets Reeves Skeen.

“We’re extremely excited about welcoming people and businesses to our notable new Nexton branch,” Skeen said. “Our customers will find a comfortable and convenient banking environment and the personal service they’ve come to expect from First Citizens. This new location also serves as a focal point for meeting the financial needs of the community.”

The Nexton branch is located at the corner of Nexton Parkway and Cross Park Drive, 107 First Citizens Way, Summerville. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

In addition to a staffed lobby, the full-service branch features a drive-through and ATM service, ample parking and a night depository.
