HERD Provisions is Paying it Forward This Week

This Valentines Day, Pay It Forward Charleston is bringing back the ‘Share the Love’ initiative to raise awareness and funds in support of the local food and beverage industry, and HERD Provisions owner, Alec Bradford, was eager to get involved.

He teamed up with Executive Chef Jeanne Oleksiak and Bar Manager Jules Schneider to create two new menu items. A portion of the sales from these new menu items will go directly towards Pay It Forward’s efforts. The new items are:

• Local Strawberry Salad (below)
  • Pickled Asian pear, kalettes, croutons, herbs, flowers & white balsamic vinaigrette.
• ‘True Romance’ Cocktail (above right)
  • Bombay Sapphire, strawberry Moscato syrup, Giffard pamplemousse & lemon juice.

These new items will be available throughout the week of February 7th to 13th. HERD Provisions is located at 106 Grove Street.
