Chasing Sage to Launch Brunch Service This Sunday
Downtown restaurant Chasing Sage will launch Sunday brunch service this weekend on February 13th. Like their dinner menu, Chasing Sage’s brunch menu will focus on a rotating list of small and large plates, along with a selection of brunchy cocktails and wines, and coffees sourced from Seattle, where owners Cindy and Walter Edward and Forrest Brunton lived before relocating to the Lowcountry.
Originally slated to open in May of 2020, the restaurant managed to get through the first year of the pandemic with a series of takeout-only pop-ups including a takeout menu of Japanese-style ramen. The popular pork ramen will be making a cameo appearance on the upcoming brunch menu. Other options include potato rosti with Raclette cheese and apple mustard; Japanese souffle pancakes with lemon curd and fresh ricotta; and winter fruits served with yogurt ice cream and banana bread crumbs.
Brunch service will run from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm on Sundays, beginning February 13th. Saturday brunch service will follow soon after. Reservations are available on Resy, although some tables will be reserved for walk-in parties as well.
