Subtle & Sass to Host Fashion Show Benefiting the Gracie Brave Foundation
Local boutique Subtle & Sass is launching its summer collection with a fashion show in Mt. Pleasant to benefit the Gracie Brave Foundation, a nonprofit that inspires and empowers children and families to find hope and healing from depression and other emotional challenges. The event will feature an outdoor runway show with 20 of the hottest summer looks, music by DJ Curt and outdoor shopping with Subtle & Sass and accessories guru Winter B. Coterie.
“Giving back to the community has always been a focus of Subtle & Sass,” said owner Renee Smith. “When I started planning this event, I knew I wanted to partner with a nonprofit that helps empower others. Even though fashion is an outward expression of beauty, it’s just as important to cultivate the beauty within. I wanted to work with Gracie Brave so they can continue their mission of helping young people feel confident and valued.”
The event will take place on Saturday, March 12th from 3 pm to 6:30 pm at 1500 Pearl Tabby Drive in Mt. Pleasant. The rain date will be March 13th. Tickets are $40 and include the Fashion Show and your first drink from The Tap Truck Charleston. Tickets can be purchased at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/
A representative from Gracie Brave will be at the event sharing their mission as well as selling merchandise. The mission of Gracie Brave is to “inspire and empower children and families to find hope and healing from depression and other emotional challenges.” The foundation is working to achieve this through their book, GRACIE BRAVE, merchandise, counseling, workshops, and advocacy.
Guests will have the opportunity to shop all of the looks in the show as well as many other great fashion pieces from Subtle & Sass. Additional drinks will be available for purchase from Tap Truck Charleston and guests can purchase individual charcuterie treats by Low Country Boards and Gelato from Marion’s Gelato.
