Blazing Star Cafe Seeking Investments to Help Open West Ashley Location
Bettina Fisher, the owner of Blazing Star Cafe, is seeking investments to help her finish opening her first brick and mortar location with capital raised from community investors through Regulation Crowdfunding, a new regulation made possible by the JOBS Act, Title III in 2016.
Anyone, accredited or not, may invest in Blazing Star Cafe with as little as $100 in exchange for a percentage of the business’ revenue, paid out quarterly through the platform.
Blazing Star Cafe will be located at 874 Orleans Road in West Ashley and will specialize in bagels and other traditional baked goods. They will serve breakfast, lunch, and an expanded brunch menu on weekends.
At the time of writing, Blazing Star Cafe has raised over $13,000 from 19 investors and has 50 days remaining in the campaign to reach their minimum goal of $20,000 (their maximum goal is $100,000). You can see more details on their offering page here: https://mainvest.com/b/
