3rd Annual West Ashley Restaurant Festival Scheduled for Sunday

The 3rd Annual West Ashley Restaurant Festival, hosted by the new West Ashley Area Chamber of Commerce, will take place on Sunday, February 27th. The event welcomes eateries and attendees from throughout the Tri-County area, but highlights the West Ashley footprint.

The festival will take place from 2 pm to 6 pm at Avondale Center, located in the parking area of Triangle Char Bar (828 Savannah Highway). Admission is $15 (early bird special) and $20 general admission. The event is open to the general public and children. Tickets can be purchased here.

Several West Ashley restaurants will provide bites of their unique menu items and will be accompanied by restaurants visiting from other districts nearby. Restaurants will serve two to three-ounce samples of signature menu items, complimentary for the first 45 mins. For the remaining hours guests will have the opportunity to purchase menu items, then vote for the restaurants with the best tastings, spirits, and desserts.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit West Ashley Educators. Remaining proceeds will cover event expenses, future marketing, and advertising focused around growth and awareness of the Festival, its supporters, and businesses within the district of West Ashley.

In addition to the food, the festivities will also include:

• A VIP and Sponsors Food Sample Hour
• A Vendor Alley including exhibitors from area non-profit and for-profit businesses
• Live music

Public and street parking is available throughout the center of Avondale and the community on a first come/first serve basis. Spectators are encouraged to carpool or use ride share services.
