Lowcountry Youth Services Hosts its Second Annual Virtual Fundraising Extravaganza
Lowcountry Youth Services, a community-based youth development organization, will be hosting its Second Annaul LYS-A-Thon Virtual Fundraiser starting at 9 am on Saturday, March 26th.
This event is an all-day celebration of the work the organization has done in the Tri-County area since its inception in 2008 while also raising money for their mentorship and youth engagement programs. It will be an all-day social media extravaganza where current and former members of their organization, family members, mentors, volunteers, and community stakeholders will discuss the importance of mentorship and how they have been personally affected by Lowcountry Youth Services. This event will be hosted by the LYS Executive Director, ReZsaun Lewis.
Lowcountry Youth Services prides itself on providing its members with year-round emotional support, self-esteem, and extracurricular character-building activities throughout the year. Their programs help members and their families to build the skills that will inevitably serve them well moving forward in life. Their key areas of focus are Leadership, Building Healthy Relationships, and College and Career Readiness. All skills taught in their programs have been proven to mitigate adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and cultivate youth resiliency.
The organization is seeking corporate sponsorships to help them raise $50,000 during this event. Lowcountry Youth Services is a 501c3 non-profit organization, meaning all funds go directly back into the organization.
