Pier 101 Reopens Its Doors on Folly Beach Pier
Pier 101 Restaurant & Bar, located on the Folly Beach Pier, is back open for business following a two-year closure due to pier renovations.
“For almost 100 years, the pier has been an essential part of the Folly Beach community and a top destination for families and beachgoers,” said Halee Brinson, general manager of Pier 101. “We are so excited to welcome guests back to Pier 101 just in time for spring.”
The 140-seat restaurant spans 3,680-sq. feet and offers indoor and outdoor seating with umbrellas, shaded coverings and two bars.
Pier 101’s menu features items such as Caribbean Seafood Chowder, the Old Fashion Diner Burger, Southern classics like Fried Shrimp and Shrimp and Grits, and seafood options including Fried Flounder and a Fish Bowl. In addition to lunch and dinner items, Pier 101 will serve desserts such as the Chocolate Chip Belgian Waffle and Fried Oreos. Along with a cocktail menu of “on the rocks” and frozen drinks, Pier 101’s signature cocktail, the RootPier Float, can be purchased in a souvenir mug that guests can take home.
Pier 101 will be open for lunch and dinner Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 8 pm and is located at 101 E Arctic Ave. For more information on Pier 101 or to view the entire menu, visit pier101folly.com.
