PURE Theatre Introduces PURE Live, A New Online Streaming Program
PURE Theatre, a contemporary theatre company located in downtown Charleston, is today launching their brand new online streaming program, PURE Live, which will include simulcast performances beginning with their current production of Ben Butler.
PURE Live allows the theatre to simulcast performances to virtual audiences as the action is happening live on stage. PURE says this new outlet “protects the immediacy, intrigue, and risk of live performance, not only for audiences in the theatre but also for those joining from afar.”
This Spring, PURE will livestream three productions, all simulcast during a live performance, to screens worldwide: Ben Butler, Honoria Quietly Drawing Strength From Her Truth, and Mlima’s Tale.
