Emeline Brings Back “Clerks Off the Clock” Series

Downtown hotel Emeline says that due to popular demand, they are bringing back their “Clerks Off The Clock” event series. The sessions will be held every Friday and Saturday evening from 6 pm to 9 pm.

A special, after dinner pop-in at Clerks Coffee Company, the “Off the Clock” series features a selection of after dinner drinks, bites, conversations, and live music.

The “Not Coffee Menu” highlights include:

  • Brandy Alexander: Cognac, Crème de Cacao, Soft Serve, Nutmeg
  • Orange Split: Vodka, Vanilla, Orange & Cream
  • Cocoa Old Fashioned: Cocoa Nib Infused Virgil Kane Bourbon, Cocoa Nib Infused Demerara, Chocolate Bitters, Scotch Rinse
  • Boozy Brew: Mezcal, Cold Brew, Cynar, Punt E Mes
• Food
  • Gingerbread Cake: Poached Pear, Salted Caramel, Buttercream
  • Chocolate Budino Cake: Pistachio, Vanilla Soft Serve, Sea Salt
  • Cannoli: Housemade Ricotta, Chocolate Chips, Candied Pistachio

The event is designed to promote the free-flowing exchange of culture and ideas. The hotel says “Clerks Off the Clock” offers guests a peek into what it would be like in the backroom of a 19th-century merchant house after the numbers have been crunched and the deals have been made.
