Charleston County Public Works is doing work to confirm depth of existing utilities in relation to the proposed sidewalk project. The project extends along Woodland Shores Road from the intersection at Maybank Highway to Riverland Drive. The primary purpose of the project is to construct a new sidewalk to improve safety for bicyclists and pedestrians. The project is funded through Charleston County Transportation Committee (CTC) funds, and by the Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments (BCDCOG).
