We Are Family to Host South Carolina’s Only Adult Queer Prom on June 4th

Tri-County-based nonprofit We Are Family (WAF) will host South Carolina’s only Adult Queer Prom on June 4th, from 7 pm to 11 pm, at Firefly Distillery. The event offers the local LGBTQI+ community a second chance to have the prom experience they have always dreamed of. This fourth annual event will provide LGBTQI+ adults and allies (18 and up) with an inclusive, LGBT-affirming night of fun.

After a successful Queer Youth Prom on April 30th, WAF’s Adult Prom will feature live entertainment from local Drag Queens, a photo booth, a crown-making station, and a raffle stocked full of prizes donated from local businesses. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided, as well as access to a fully stocked bar.

Tickets for Queer Adult Prom are $35 in advance and $40 at the door, and can be purchased here.
