Minero to Pop Up at Low Tide Brewing on April 13th
Minero, which officially makes its return to Charleston this spring as a Mexican Grill & Cantina on Johns Island, will be popping-up for a sneak peek experience next week at Low Tide Brewing.
On Wednesday, April 13th, from 5 pm to 8 pm, Executive Chef Shamil Velazquez will be serving up some Minero favorites – including housemade chips with a trio of arbol (smoky + traditional), benne (sweet + spicy), and verde (mild + fresh) salsas; or queso and the Minero Burger, a classic smash burger made with 2 grass-fed beef and chorizo patties (pictured).
The evening will also feature the brewery’s weekly trivia night, where teams compete for a round of pints and a Minero gift card.
The pop-up, including team trivia, is open to the public and free to attend. 100% of proceeds from Minero’s menu, as well as $1 for every pint of Low Tide beer sold, will be donated to local Johns Island non-profit, Sea Island Hunger Awareness Foundation.
