Charleston Resident Wins Orangetheory Fitness’ “Change Your Life Transformation Contest”
One Palmetto State man is reaping the rewards of a total body transformation thanks to Orangetheory Fitness.
Zach Harris (right) is the winner of the fitness brand’s Change Your Life contest. As part of the contest, Harris received a prize pack to help jumpstart his fitness journey and achieve his personal and mental health goals, including a free six-month membership to Orangetheory Fitness.
“Over the past three months, I’ve lost 15 pounds, lowered my blood pressure, become more focused, have more energy and feel better about myself overall since beginning my fitness journey last fall,” says Harris. “I never thought I’d feel this motivated to keep going, but the coaches push you to be your best every class, and the community is incredibly supportive.”
The contest, which began in October 2021, invited South Carolinians to share their mental and physical health goals for a chance to change their lives. Harris was then selected out of 500 entries. As part of his participation, he shared his progress along the way on social media.
“We couldn’t be more proud of Zach, all his accomplishments and his transformation,” says Jamie Weeks, founder and CEO of Honors Holdings, the largest franchisee of Orangetheory Fitness in the United States and the contest host. “Our coaches continue to be impressed by Zach’s determination and enthusiasm, and we’re excited to have him join our supportive fitness community and share his own journey with others who are just beginning their own.”
Orangetheory Fitness is a heart-rate based interval training group workout that combines science, coaching and technology to guarantee results from the inside out.
