Randall Fowler Set to Release Cover of “Midnight Rider”
After his cover of The Allman Brothers Band’s “Midnight Rider” generated lots of buzz on TikTok, local Country singer Randall Fowler will release an official recording of the song on April 29th.
One night Randall’s wife, Alexandra, went to his band practice and filmed him singing “Midnight Rider” a cappella. She posted it on his TikTok account and within a few hours he had tens of thousands of views, likes, and comments. As the days and weeks went by, the video accumulated 350k views and added 30k followers. Eventually, Fowler earned 1 million views collectively.
Realizing he created something that was resonating with people, Fowler decided to go to his producer, Grady Saxman of Saxman Studios in Nashville, and recorded his take on the classic. And now, you’ll soon be able to hear the cover for yourself!
