WakeUp Carolina to Host 5th Anniversary Celebration & Silent Auction on April 28th
WakeUp Carolina, a non-profit recovery community organization that focuses on the support, education, and advocacy of those touched by substance use disorder, will host their 5th Anniversary Celebration & Silent Auction on Thursday, April 28th at Harborside East in Mt. Pleasant. The event runs from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm with a VIP Toast at 6 pm.
For five years, WakeUp has provided a safe space, community, harm reduction measures, connection to resources, support, experience, and hope to young people, individuals, and families who are walking the path of substance use disorder.
–
To celebrate their five years as an organization, and to reflect upon the exponential growth their organization has experiences, the group will host this fundraising event featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, mocktails, and music by Hank Futch and Bobby Houck of The Blue Dogs. Guests will have an opportunity to bid on items in a silent auction, as well as meet the staff, board members, volunteers, and participants that keep the organization running.
–
All proceeds from this event will be directed back into WakeUp Carolina’s programs and services.
To view more details on the event, see some of the items up for auction, purchase your tickets, or donate if you can’t attend but still want to support, visit WakeUp Carolina’s event site at here.
