Jane DO Female Fitness Studio to Host Grand Opening on April 23rd
Jane DO, a female fitness studio that began in New Jersey, will be celebrating its grand opening on Saturday, April 23rd from 9 am to 12 pm at 476 Meeting Street. The public is invited to experience a Jane DO workout firsthand with free classes and giveaways. This new downtown Charleston location expands the company’s portfolio of studios, making them one of the fastest growing, self-funded, female empowered fitness brands.
Jane DO co-founders, best friends, and former Radio City Rockettes, Jacey Lambros and Danielle DeAngelo, said they were fed up with fitness stereotypes that revolved around “perfection” and decided that together they could help redefine the fitness conversation and create a strong message of inclusion and positivity. Through their extensive fitness backgrounds as Rockettes and two of NYC’s most highly sought after trainers with a client rolodex of celebrities, influencers, and other fitness experts, they developed the concept of Jane DO.
The Charleston location will be opened by managing partner Kaitlin Tufts who relocated to the Holy City from NYC. She holds her BFA in Dance from Florida State University, which paved the way for her career as a professional dancer.
Jane DO offers five signature classes which are all beat driven, mixed level, total body 50-minute workouts designed for all fitness levels and body types. Jane DO can also be found online with streamed workouts at JaneDO.com.
