Local Nonprofit Going Places to host 2nd Annual Gala on May 21st

On Saturday, May 21st, local nonprofit Going Places will host their second annual gala to help support their mission of providing “disadvantaged kids with their most basic childhood right – a right to joy.” SweetGrass Capital will present the event, called Going Places’ Gala, “A Night Under the Tent.”

Guests can expect an ariel bartender (below right), music from the band Flash Mob, an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, live and silent auctions, surprises, and more.

Here are some more details:

• Attire: “Formal Cocktail” Attire
• General admission tickets:
  • Non-reserved seat: $135
    • You are guaranteed a place to sit but not guaranteed where you will sit until you arrive and claim a seat. You are also not guaranteed to sit with your friends unless you all arrive together to claim a seat
  • Reserved seat: $200
    • You are guaranteed a seat with your friends if you buy them together
    • You will have a seating assignment at a shared table
  • VIP Table: $2,500
    • You will have a full 10 seat table reserved for you with your company logo on it
    • The table will be front row, in front of the stage
    • Each person seated at a VIP table will receive a branded REV Federal Credit Union cigar as a table favor

The event is open to the public, but is for adults only. The gala runs from 7 pm to 11 pm at Patriots Point Pavilion at the Golf Links (1 Patriots Point Pavilion) in Mt. Pleasant.
