Congressman Jim Clyburn’s World Famous Fish Fry Comes to North Charleston on May 7th
Rep Clyburn began the fish fry nearly three decades ago as a thank you to his campaign workers and for community members who couldn’t afford to attend the South Carolina State Democratic Party dinner. Over time, the event became a “can’t miss” stop for any candidate seeking the Democratic presidential nomination. Although this isn’t a presidential election year, local politicians are expected to be in attendance.
