Dr. Annie Andrews to Host Zoom Conversation on Gun Violence with Parkland Parent Fred Guttenberg and Dr. Joseph Sakran

Lowcountry pediatrician and Democratic candidate for Congress Dr. Annie Andrews will host a virtual conversation with activist Fred Guttenberg and trauma surgeon Dr. Joseph Sakran about the recent shootings in South Carolina and what can be done reduce gun violence. The public is invited to attend to event on Wednesday, April 27th at 8 pm.

Guttenberg is a father and a gun safety advocate who lost his daughter in the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas shooting in Parkland, FL, in 2018. Dr. Sakran is the Vice Chair of Clinical Operations and an Associate Professor of Surgery at Johns Hopkins University, whose research focus is in gun violence prevention.
