Press Release
Christine Ingram, owner of Spa Azure, a boutique European day spa located in Mount Pleasant (1055 Johnnie Dodds Blvd #40),on Monday announced the opening of her second location this May at 320 Broad Street, Suite 103, in the newly opened mixed-use building at The Jasper in downtown Charleston.
Lauded for its premier facial and body treatments, leading anti-aging methods, skincare consultations as well as a wide array of beauty services like waxing and tinting, Spa Azure is considered one of the premier spas in the region. Their customized facial treatments are designed to improve the overall health, radiance, and appearance of your skin by delivering powerful, results-driven benefits. In addition to their treatments and services, Spa Azure is Charleston’s only authorized Biologique Recherche retailer. Biologique Recherche skincare is known for being as exclusive as its products are effective. The sought-after Biologique Recherche Remodeling Face Machine uses a combination of currents to sculpt and tone facial muscles, improving muscle memory and reducing the need for cosmetic surgery in the future. In South Carolina, this machine is only found at Spa Azure.
The new downtown location will feature 4 private treatment rooms, a relaxation lounge to enjoy after checking in, a reception lobby, and retail space offering a curated collection of beauty and skincare products from top-tier brands like Biologique Recherche and Omnilux.
While both locations share the same concept, the downtown location will draw specific design elements from its coastal surroundings to give the space its own unique aesthetic. Ingram partnered with local design firm Mary Welch Fox Design on the interiors, who transformed the empty box into a serene and sophisticated retreat. The overall aesthetic is minimalist and elegant with an emphasis on high-quality fixtures and furnishings. Lighting by Kelly Wearstler and Sean Lavin for Circa, marble countertops, and luxurious furnishings strike a stylish tone, while natural and organic elements incorporated in custom artwork and wallcoverings set the stage for a relaxing experience. While the main color palette is a soft blend of creams and neutrals, there are pops of signature Spa Azure blue throughout.
“It’s been a dream of ours to open a second location in downtown Charleston, so we are thrilled to bring our treatments and services to this beautiful new space on Broad Street and the Charleston community.” said owner, Christine Ingram.
