Press Release

F.A.C.E. (Female African-American Christian Entrepreneur) is a new social enterprise shaking up the way we think about supporting Black females. They have launched a grassroots donation campaign to empower and position Black females to become trailblazers who influence real change in their communities and globally.

Founded during the second-wave of the pandemic in 2021, F.A.C.E. advocates for women who have experienced lack of representation, fair treatment, and appreciation for the unique perspective they bring to the table. With a goal of raising $20,000, F.A.C.E. plans to launch their first line of apparel designs made to celebrate and help Black women reach their full potential as they navigate family, spiritual, and work life.

“F.A.C.E. wants to create a world where every Black female feels included, respected and valued,” said founder LaTonya Renee. “When we work together as one people, our dream becomes reality. We all become better versions of ourselves while helping others achieve their full potential.”

Black female entrepreneurs like Renee experience a lack of resources and funding, which studies show 97% of them run into when starting a business. F.A.C.E.’s fundraising efforts will help with start-up costs for samples, patterns and materials for their apparel designs aimed toward body positivity and self-acceptance.

A portion of funds raised will go toward supporting the True F.A.C.E. Foundation, which is their nonprofit established uniquely for Black women and girls to merge together and support one another in spiritual growth, business acumen development, health and wellness.
