In addition, HCS was the runner-up in the Best Local Instagram category. This was the first time the City Paper included this category.
The City Paper also posted a short blurb about me and the site. You can read that here.
I am VERY humbled, honored, and grateful to have won these awards. Winning Best Local Website and Best Local Podcast (in the first year of the podcast) are particularly special to me this year and I have you all to thank for that. Thanks to everyone who nominated and voted for me. I truly appreciate it! Your support means the world to me and I’m so thankful for your votes. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
A special thank you to Jeff Walker, who provides several stories and interviews a week, and Lindsay Collins of LMC Soundsystem who produces my podcast.
