Annual 4th of July Fireworks Blast Returns to Patriots Point
Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum’s annual 4th of July Fireworks Blast will return this year. The event will include food trucks, fireworks, and live music.
On July 4th, starting at 6 pm, guests are invited to a free party landside of the historic World War II aircraft carrier USS Yorktown. This event does not require a ticket, however parking at Patriots Point for the day will be $20 per vehicle. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own seating.
In addition to landside viewing, admission to the Yorktown’s flight deck will be available for purchase as an enhanced viewing option. Tickets for the flight deck will cost $25 per person and available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Patriots Point ticket window starting July 4th at 9 am. Tickets are limited to six per person and cannot be resold. Guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs for flight deck seating. Personal food and drinks will not be permitted on the flight deck, but local food vendor King of Pops will sell gourmet popsicles. Access to the flight deck will open to those with tickets at 7:30 pm and close at the conclusion of the fireworks show.
Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will be open for regular museum touring from 9 am until 5 pm on July 4th, 2022. The last tickets will be sold at 4 pm. Parking at the museum is limited. It is recommended visitors arrive early or carpool. For more information, visit patriotspoint.org.
