Mount Pleasant Community Arts Center to host Coffee House Variety Show in Alhambra Hall
The Mount Pleasant Community Arts Center will present its first Coffee House Variety Show on Thursday, June 2nd at 7 pm in Alhambra Hall, located at 131 Middle Street in Mt. Pleasant.
The Coffee House Variety Show is billed as “an eclectic mix of music, song, and comedy presented in a relaxed coffee house atmosphere that showcases the talent and cultural diversity of local professional performing artists.” The series aims to have something for everyone – from Jazz to Gullah Geechee to Opera to Rap.
Clyde Moser will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. Performers are expected to include Andy Livengood, Small Opera Company, and the V-Tones.
The Mount Pleasant Community Arts Center (MPCAC) is a 501(C 3) non-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. The MPCAC mission is to promote and increase access to the arts in Mt. Pleasant and the tri-county. he MPCAC’s ultimate goal is to establish a Community Arts Center, that would foster and promote the performing, visual and literary arts.
