Press Release

East West Partners – a premiere, nationally awarded residential and commercial real estate development group – celebrates the expansion of its Southeast portfolio with the successful introduction of The Cape on Kiawah, which sold out this spring and marked more than $284M in total sales.

Located on Kiawah Island, South Carolina, one of the nation’s most sought-after destinations, The Cape on Kiawah is nestled within the original West Beach community. With its pristine, last-of-its-kind oceanfront setting, The Cape on Kiawah spans 14 acres and 1,000 feet of prime beachfront, the largest of any development on the island. Poised as a year-round retreat of sea, sand, marsh, and river, the community offers the first whole ownership luxury residences on the island in 40 years.

Currently under construction, The Cape on Kiawah is expected to be complete in 2023 with a total of 78 distinctive, coastal-modern residences across six buildings.

“East West Partners is devoted to creating homeowner experiences that combine a desirable location, luxury amenities, strong community aspect, turnkey living, sustainably-driven design, and connection to nature. The Cape on Kiawah has been an incredibly rewarding project as we’ve been able to successfully merge these elements in collaboration with key partners, making it highly attractive for buyers,” said Miller Harper, managing partner of East West Partners’ Charleston developments. “The sales success has been incredible and we see long-term interest continuing strong, namely with luxury living in the Lowcountry area in such high demand.”

The launch of Phase I began in June 2021 with residences offered across two of the development’s six buildings, all of which feature penthouse units. The success of initial sales accelerated the project’s construction and launch of Phase II sales, which offered an additional 38 residences. As of March 2022, all 78 residences across Phases I and II have completely sold out. Phase I represented just over $159M in sales while Phase II represented just over $125M in sales, for a total of $284M+ in sales success for the development.
