As previously reported, Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, an internationally-acclaimed Vincent Van Gogh multimedia exhibit, will feature a limited-run, special show in Charleston from July 16th through September 4th at the Charleston Area Convention Center. The event is similar to Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition, which was setup in Festival Hall this past summer.

The highly anticipated event will feature more than 300 of the greatest works of the post-Impressionist artist and bring Van Gogh’s influential pieces to life in a unique three-dimensional display. Occupying more than 30,000 square feet, Beyond Van Gogh is the largest immersive experience in the country and has sold more than 2.5 million tickets globally, making it one of the most popular traveling exhibitions. Single timed entry tickets, VIP packages, and group rates are available now.

Guests will be surrounded by high-resolution digital projections, comprising “four trillion content pixels,” of the artist’s most iconic pieces and self-portraits, including “The Starry Night,” “Sunflowers,” and “Café Terrace at Night.” Attendees will also hear Van Gogh’s own dreams, thoughts, and words set to a symphonic score.

The event is produced by Paquin Entertainment Group, presented by Outback Presents, and was created by French-Canadian Creative Director Mathieu St-Arnaud and his team at Montreal’s Normal Studio.

“An imaginative and fully-immersive adventure, Beyond Van Gogh takes on the challenge of breathing new life into Van Gogh’s vast body of work,” said St-Arnaud. “Through the use of cutting-edge 3D projection technology and music to illuminate all of his genius, guests can experience the artist with all their senses,” .

Admission starts at $36.99 for adults and $21.99 for children, plus ticketing fees. Tickets can be purchased online at https://vangoghcharleston.com/. See hours of operation below:
