A popular local treat was featured on this Friday’s TODAY show. The “Not Fried Chicken” Ice Cream Bars from Life Raft Treats, a local ice cream and sweets business from Cynthia Wong, were included in a segment about fun Father’s Day gifts. You can see the clip below.

Wong, a six-time James Beard Award semifinalist for Outstanding Pastry Chef, created the “Not Fried Chicken” Ice Cream bars, which include a waffle ice cream, a chocolate-covered cookie “bone,” caramelized white chocolate, crushed cornflakes, and more.
