Ruby Sunshine Announces We Are Family as Summer Seasonal Partner

Ruby Sunshine, an all-day brunch eatery in downtown Charleston, has announced that We Are Family Charleston is the restaurant’s Summer Seasonal Partner. Ruby Sunshine will donate $1 from every Pride Mimosa Flight (right) and Pride Tee sold between May 31st and August 14th to We Are Family.

Located on E. Bay Street, Ruby Sunshine Charleston opened in December 2021 and is the first of two Ruby Sunshine locations to open in Charleston. The second Charleston restaurant location is slated to open in August on Savannah Highway in West Ashley’s Avondale neighborhood.

Ruby Sunshine is the latest concept from Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group, the hospitality group behind acclaimed New Orleans-based eatery Ruby Slipper Café.

We Are Family is a local non-profit organization that provides affirming spaces for LGBTQI+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, etc.) and ally youth up to the age of 24 through direct support, leadership development, and community engagement.
