Bonny’s Hideaway to Launch Themed Pop-Up Nights
Beginning on Monday, June 20th, downtown bar Bonny’s Hideaway will open on Mondays for “Shift Drink,” a recurring, pop-up theme night featuring food and drink specials. Each event begins at 7 pm.
Each “Shift Drink” will include dishes inspired by that week’s theme. Recurring “Shift Drink” specials include $4 shots of banana Jameson, $2 pony beers, $10 specialty cocktails, and $5 caviar bumps – the bar says this special pricing is designed for food and beverage industry workers, but all guests are welcome.
The “Shift Drink” launch on June 20th will be a celebration of the 1990s. Executive Chef Jesse Quint will prepare interpretations of foods that harken back to childhood in the 90s, including Bagel Bites, Toaster Strudel, Kid Cuisines, and Hot Pockets. The night’s special cocktails, created by Beverage Director Jim McCourt, will include Capri Sun punches and cosmopolitans.
Future “Shift Drink” themes include a The Sopranos, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, “Cereal Killers,” and A Nightmare on King Street.
Bonny’s Hideaway is located at 549 King Street.
