Post & Courier to Host “Pints & Politics” Event with New York Times Reporter Jonathan Martin
The series, which is free and open to the public, features “local figures in politics discussing issues with casual conversations and home-brewed beverages.” The Post and Courier reporters serve as moderators to guide the political discussions. Attendees are encouraged to submit their questions as well.
Martin is a national political correspondent for The New York Times and a political analyst for CNN. He joined the Times in 2013 after working as a senior political writer for POLITICO. His work has been featured in The New Republic, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal, among others. A native of Arlington, Virginia, Martin is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College.
Buxton Books will be onsite selling copies of Martin’s New York Times bestseller, This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future, which he can sign and personalize after the event.
