Local Rapper Blakk Conway Releases Debut Mixtape

Charleston-based rapper Blakk Conway this month released his debut mixtape, His Name is Cody, which you can stream over on SoundCloud.

The 10-track release, which dropped on June 18th, includes the single “All Black Jays.” The song first debuted on Extra Chill, a local music blog. Writer Chris Huber said the track has “delivery and wordplay characteristic of the golden era of 90’s hip-hop.”
