North Charleston to Celebrates Independence Day with “Lowcountry’s Largest Fireworks Display”
The City of North Charleston will present its annual 4th of July Festival at Riverfront Park on Independence Day from 5 pm to 10 pm. The Festival is presented free of charge to the public.
The event will include:
- Music from North Charleston POPS! and DJ Natty Heavy
- 26 food trucks
- Vendors
- Fireworks (beginning at 9 pm)
Guests attending the Festival are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets, as there is no seating provided.
Other Important information:
- No entry into the park until 5 pm
- All bags will be searched
- No grills allowed in the park during the festival
- No sparklers or outside fireworks allowed
- Parking is free
- Enter the former Navy Base via McMillan or Virginia Avenues for parking
- Walking, biking, carpooling, and ridesharing are encouraged
