Lowcountry Veterans Announces Second Annual Gala on USS Yorktown

Lowcountry Veterans, a local homeless veterans shelter, will host their 2nd Annual Benefit Gala aboard the USS Yorktown on Friday, October 7th. The evening will consist of live music, dancing, delicious food, and drinks.

Attendees can expect:

• Live music by The Midnight City
• Open bar with wine, beer, and spirits
• Heavy hors d’oeuvres
• A mac & cheese bar
• 360˚ photo/video booth
• Silent auction packages

Gala tickets are on sale now. Special early bird pricing is running now through the end of August. Event tickets are all-inclusive, with single ticket options as well as table packages available to sponsors. This event is limited to ages 21 and up. Lowcountry Veterans is dedicated to providing transitional housing to homeless US military veterans in the Charleston area as well as supporting other local veteran causes through outreach, fundraising, and partnerships. In addition to lodging, they provide food and transportation services, while also facilitating volunteer, educational, and employment opportunities through community partners. Since they opened their doors in 2020, they have helped over 70 formerly homeless veterans find stable employment and permanent housing. In addition to veteran homelessness, Lowcountry Veterans supports other local veteran causes and aims to honor the men and women who have dedicated their lives to our country.
