The Loutrel Named Top Hotel in Charleston

The Loutrel, the boutique hotel managed by Charlestowne Hotels, has been chosen as the best hotel in Charleston in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards. The magazine announced their award winners earlier today.

“We are humbled and excited to be voted the # 1 hotel in Charleston by the discerning readers of Travel + Leisure,” said Gregg Hilker, general manager of The Loutrel. “Since opening, our team has delivered an extraordinary guest experience, complemented by the hotel’s stunning design and exceptional amenities, further enriched by Travel + Leisure’s #1 U.S. City, Charleston.”

The honor follows earlier accolades for the property, including CNN Travel’s “Best New Hotels to Book in 2022,” Conde Nast Traveler’s 2022 “Hot List,” and Esquire’s inaugural “Best New Hotels” list.

To celebrate the accolade, The Loutrel is collaborating with Charleston-based Estelle Colored Glass to offer the “Celebration Package” – which includes overnight accommodations for two, a bottle of bubbly, and a gift of two Estelle coupes to toast the award.
