Holy City Magic Celebrates One Year Anniversary with Boston Magician Dave Chandler

Holy City Magic is celebrating their one-year anniversary with a special performance by Boston magician Dave Chandler and the popular late show titled, “Classy and Classless,” on August 12th and 13th.

Chandler, the winner of the 2014 International Battle of Magicians, will perform his comedy magic show at 7 pm. At 10 pm, Chandler teams up with Holy City Magic’s resident magician Howard Blackwell for a bawdy, over-the-top, hilariously inappropriate show called “Classy and Classless.”

“For our anniversary, we want to offer something for everyone,” said Blackwell. “We have our regular evening show where Dave will make people laugh and show them some extremely talented magic…Then, during our late show the gloves will come off!”

Blackwell and Chandler have performed the “Classy and Classless” show prior to the pandemic and it was very popular and are looking forward to bringing it back.

“I performed with Howard for the Holy City Magic grand opening and I am excited to be able to perform during the year anniversary,” said Chandler. “This time, we are have some new and amazing things planned for our audience. It will be hysterical,” he said.

Holy City Magic features magic and comedy shows in an intimate downtown venue. Adults only evening shows will start with a cocktail hour where magicians will entertain guests with close-up magic at the bar followed by an hour and a half stage performance.
